California Continues to Invest in Harm Reduction: 14 New Partners Join COPHRI

In 2024, California’s historic $61 million investment in harm reduction through the California Overdose Prevention and Harm Reduction Initiative (COPHRI) marked a turning point in how the state supports people who use drugs. Building Resilience for Immigrant Communities in Central California

Immigrant families in California’s Central Valley and Central Coast are facing unprecedented challenges. Intensified federal enforcement, harmful rhetoric and funding uncertainty have left community organizations overwhelmed and immigrant families vulnerable to misinformation and rights violations. Elevate Youth California announces new funding opportunity

With grants up to $1 million over three years, this Elevate Youth California (EYC) funding opportunity will support community-based organizations and Tribal organizations throughout California that strive for health equity, focus on youth ages 12 to 26, and work on culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate prevention, outreach and education projects.
