Join us for Equity on the Road from April 17-19 in Bakersfield, Madera and Stockton.

The San Joaquin Valley Health Fund is a partnership of more than 170 dedicated nonprofit community organizations and 40 state and national funders. Together we are creating positive, lasting change by making the San Joaquin Valley a healthier place to live, work and prosper.

The Center awards San Joaquin Valley Health Fund grants to organizations working on policy and systems change to improve health outcomes in the nine counties of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus and Tulare.

Policy and Advocacy

The San Joaquin Valley Health Fund Policy Committee is a volunteer group of leaders from grantee partner organizations who share a unified voice to advocate for health and racial equity and social justice through legislation, policy and systems change. The Committee’s Policy Platform elevates the needs of the San Joaquin Valley and is shared at the annual Equity on the Mall rally and at meetings with legislators.

We’re pleased to share publications including research reports and guides, as well as the San Joaquin Valley Health Fund PhotoVoice Project with reflections from community members who partner with San Joaquin Valley organizations working to advance health and racial equity in the region.
