Launched in 2017, the MBK Sacramento Youth Fellowship provides opportunities for young men of color to become agents of change in their community. The Youth Fellowship is a nine-month commitment and includes mentoring; participation in workshops, conferences and meetings; fun outings and, most importantly, establishing brotherhood among young men from across the city.
This opportunity is designed for male youth of color ages 16 to 20 who reside or attend school within the City of Sacramento. Eligible applicants commit to completing the nine-month fellowship program with demonstrated interest and willingness to engage in advocacy on behalf of Sacramento young men of color.
The 2019-2020 MBK Sacramento Youth Fellowship (Cohort 3) began their program in October and completed the program in June. See the Rites of Passage Celebration video.
Thank you to everyone who attended the second annual Youth Fellowship End-of-Year Presentation and Celebration on June 12, 2019, at Sierra Health Foundation. Congratulations to the 2018-2019 Youth Fellows! See photos.
