KYCC’s joint HEAR US effort across Recovery Services, Prevention & Education and the Koreatown Storytelling Project reached 1,033 individuals.
“El Mercadito Mágico,” a Traditional Healing Arts Festival, offered acupuncture, plant‑based medicine and bodywork; staff competencies increased through evidence-based practices; a Medi‑Cal Peer Support Specialist was certified; and the 10‑month KARS youth empowerment program trained 12 students to reduce stigma and promote recovery.
