Indian Health Center provided culturally appropriate SUD intervention and direct services to 2,232 community members, including 1,798 who received cultural and ceremonial services.
An additional 168 individuals in San José received SUD/MH services; more than 30 staff and community trainings covered American Indian Motivational Interviewing, Navajo peacekeeping, signs of substance use and traditional health; and expanded ceremonies, drum groups and a traditional garden strengthened cultural healing.
