Compass Family Services hired a BIPOC therapist and a substance use disorder counselor for the first time, serving more than 25 clients through therapy and groups.
Two hundred staff were trained on substance use’s impact on families and how to encourage treatment; intake and engagement practices were improved; and a new support group for BIPOC mothers is in development.
